As one of our first Mechanical Engine Assembler hires, you’ll have the unique opportunity to complete specialized training at our strategic production hub in Jenbach, Austria. You’ll gain exceptional expertise and then bring that knowledge back to Waukesha to help train and mentor your colleagues. What You’ll Do:
- Assemble engines independently and collaboratively on a modern assembly line
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing standards and processes
- Complete scheduled tasks to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor the manufacturing process and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Participate in a 2–3 month training program at our state-of-the-art factory in the Austrian Alps to learn our advanced assembly techniques
- Share your expertise by training and mentoring co-workers in the United States after returning from Austria
Your Profile:
- Technical training or equivalent experience in engine assembly, plant construction, or related fields
- Hands-on experience as a mechanical technician, automotive mechanic, or similar role
- Strong attention to quality and commitment to high assembly standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime, flexible shifts and adapt to team needs
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards (OSHA compliance)
- Valid work authorization for the United States
